Dr. Joerg Kukies combines international capital markets experience with several years of political responsibility. As the former Federal Minister of Finance, former State Secretary in the Chancellor’s Office and head of Goldman Sachs in Germany, he is familiar with both the market’s perspective and the mechanisms of government investment.
In his keynote speech, he will highlight the guiding principles of the new special fund for infrastructure and afterwards will join the drinks reception to engage in one-to-one conversations.

Joschka Kibbel is Senior Manager Debt Advisory at EY TCF’s Hamburg office and guides mid-sized companies, private equity investors, as well as actors in the energy sector in the process of financing growth and transformational projects. Hailing from northern Germany, the “northern light” and family father not only offers topical depth, but also a practical view on corporate challenges. His main focus are financing solutions tailored to the requirements of both the energy transition and digitalisation. Furthermore, as an experienced rating adviser, he is equipped with a wide-ranging knowledge of different sectors, especially infrastructure, energy, and project financing.

Mr Moersch has experience as General Partner for institutional private equity US real estate funds as well as managing partner of a private equity infrastructure investment adviser.
Furthermore, Mr Moersch held multiple leading positions at the banking house Lampe KG and was part of Unicredit’s and HypoVereinsbank’s commercial and retail banking arms.

Mr Heidemann has more than 20 years’ professional experience in project finance for infrastructure and renewable energy. At Berenberg, he is responsible for junior and uni-tranche debt fund strategies focusing on renewable energy, the energy transition and digital infrastructure with more than EUR 1 billion in assets under management. Before joining Berenberg, he was Senior Vice President at Hamburg Commercial Bank (formerly HSH Nordbank), where he focused on senior debt transactions in renewable energy within Europe. He holds a degree in Business Administration & Engineering from the Technical University Berlin and a Master of Engineering from the University of Michigan.
