A second securitisation platform has been established for institutional initiators.
In spring 2022, fund2seed GmbH and Sinnova Group (formerly Fair-Finance), based in Austria, launched fund2sec S.à r.l., the first platform in Luxembourg for the securitisation of impact-driven securities transactions.
Building on this success, the sister platform fund2pac S.à r.l. was recently established to provide initiators with access to impact investing, even if the assets they invest in cannot be categorised using traditional ESG criteria. These platforms address a long-standing problem in the industry by providing a foundation for public offerings and trading on regulated markets for institutional investors. At the beginning of March, the clear focus on bonds and structured products was further strengthened by the acquisition of a team of experienced index specialists in Frankfurt, who specialise in fixed income and asset liability management. The group’s medium-term goal is to become the market leader in innovative securitisations and alternative fund solutions within the fixed income sector. This will help drive the shift towards financial market products that generate an impact.
