Financial group donates 300-kilo bull to Luxembourg aid organisation ‘Stemm vun der Strooss’
Charitable organisations aim to help people, primarily through financial means. Fund2seed and the Bienenelfe Foundation have taken a more unconventional approach to charity by donating a bull with a net meat weight of 300 kilogrammes.
fund2seed supports organisations by raising funds and helping them to develop sustainable financing solutions. The company is committed to implementing a sustainable business philosophy, in both Germany and Luxembourg. They have therefore chosen ‘Stemm vun der Strooss’ as the recipient of their donation. Since 1996, this organisation has been dedicated to the social and professional integration of disadvantaged individuals in Luxembourg, and it is widely recognised as a leading institution for helping the homeless. Particular focus is given to the reintegration of offenders, drug addicts, and other disadvantaged individuals.
The donation is intended to set an example regarding the use of resources. The bull is from the Bienenelfe Foundation’s herd of cattle. This non-profit organisation sells young animals from its own breeding programme and is committed to rearing them in a way that prioritises animal welfare. The aim is to encourage consumers to become responsible animal owners. Bienenelfe founder Denise Ulbrich emphasises the sustainable idea behind this exceptional donation: “Unfortunately, not all of our animals find a buyer or sponsor. As we focus on the sustainable use of resources, we wanted to stay true to our philosophy by donating the bull’s meat to those in need. With the help of fund2seed, we can make this possible.”
